Instructor Bio:
Rosalie C. Abbott, Teen and Young Adult Services Librarian, joined the Sebastopol Regional Library in July of 2017. She supervises all teen programming at the Sebastopol Library. Previously, she has worked at the Biomedical Library at University of California, San Diego; California State University at Monterey Bay Library, and San Diego State University Library. Before joining the Sonoma County Public Library, she worked as a Librarian for the West Sonoma County Union High School District having served at both Analy and El Molino High Schools. Extended coding class for 7th-12th-grade girls, to use computer science to impact their community and to build skills to help close the gender gap in technology. Space is limited to 20 participants, and participants are expected to attend all sessions. Currently offered at the Sebastopol Library.
